Van Haaren is a family-run business established in 1950, with a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge of electrical appliance sales and support. We are a member of EURONICS and abide by the EURONICS code of practice which has been designed to provide quality service and trading fairness for both consumers and retailers. Van Haaren is also fully certified by the Environment Agency and has been fully trained on Energy Efficient products.

Robert Van Haaren set up his first electrical shop in 1950, and was later joined by two of his sons Stephen and David. Uncompromising standards, hard work and dedication to quality have seen our company grow and expand to our present day premises in Chingford Road. Our aim over the years has always been to build a company based on honest advice, integrity and to always put our customer's needs first.

Both management and staff value the reputation that we have built up over the years and are proud of the considerable knowledge and expertise that we provide to customers. That's why Van Haaren is renowned throughout the trade and community today.

Customer satisfaction is a top priority and is reflected in what we sell and the testimonials from our customers. We do not believe in selling poor-quality products by unknown manufacturers. We do however believe in giving you the best value for your money with top selling brands of proven quality and reliability.

Van Haaren's buying power means that we can pass price savings onto you. Our price policy is to better or at least equal any genuine price available locally, so if you can buy it cheaper - please let us know. Credit and Debit cards are both welcome.

It can sometimes be a nightmare when the time comes to purchase a new appliance. To take away some of the fears and worries we offer you the benefit of our expert staff's unrivalled expertise, so that buying your appliance becomes a stress-free and pleasurable experience.

Its easy to become confused with the choice of appliances available nowadays and their similarity, and that's why our experienced sales staff are always on hand to give you guidance and personal attention regardless of how large or small your purchase is.

We know that there is nothing more annoying than being promised a delivery date and then being let down. At Van Haaren's we believe in FREE local delivery for major purchases and in addition SAME DAY deliveries where possible. We can also deliver at a pre-arranged time to suit you, so no more taking days off work only to be let down, we won't let you down.

Our dedication to looking after our customers does not end at delivery. Standard procedure includes unpacking your new appliance with removal of all packing, and placing the appliance where you want it located. Also available is a full installation service together with safe disposal of your old appliance. Please ask in store for details.
